General Information

L arginine

L-arginine is an amino acid that plays a very important role in the production of nitric oxide (NO) in the body. Nitric oxide is a vasodilator, regulating blood flow by helping blood vessels relax.

L-arginine supplementation is helpful, especially those with underlying endothelial dysfunction (a condition in which blood vessels do not function properly). L arginine is an amino acid required for the synthesis of nitric oxide. In order for enough blood to reach the tissues, the vessels must dilate, and nitric oxide provides this. In its deficiency, there is not enough blood supply to the organs.

L-Citrulline

Citrulline is another amino acid that is closely related to L-arginine and plays a role in the production of nitric oxide (NO) in the body. Citrulline is converted to L-arginine in the body. This transformation occurs primarily in the kidneys.

Citrulline supplementation may indirectly increase NO levels by increasing L-arginine levels in the body. Citrulline supplementation is more effective than L-arginine supplementation alone in increasing plasma arginine levels because citrulline is more easily absorbed by the body and is less subject to metabolism in the liver.

Taurine

Taurine is a sulfur-containing amino acid found naturally in various tissues of the body, including the brain, heart, and skeletal muscle. It is found in large amounts in tissues such as heart, skeletal muscle and brain. It acts as a neurotransmitter, playing various physiological roles such as regulating ion balance.

While taurine itself does not directly affect nitric oxide (NO) levels, it may indirectly affect NO production through various mechanisms. Taurine indirectly affects NO production by affecting calcium channel activity. An increase in NO production occurs because calcium influx triggers the activation of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS), the enzyme responsible for NO synthesis.

Pycnogenol

Pycnogenol is a patented extract obtained from the bark of the French maritime pine tree (Pinus pinaster). It contains a mixture of bioflavonoids, especially procyanidins, which are powerful antioxidants.

The logic behind combining L-arginine, L-citrulline and Pycnogenol in H&QL For Men is that L-arginine and L-citrulline are the precursors of nitric oxide (NO) production, while Pycnogenol is the enzyme responsible for converting L-arginine into NO ( It increases NOS) activity. Pycnogenol shows a synergistic effect in combination with L-arginine.

Panax ginseng

Panax ginseng, often referred to simply as ginseng, is a popular herbal product that has been used for centuries in traditional medicine, especially in East Asia. It consists of biologically active components known as ginsenoids and ginseng saponins. Both of these components increase the release of NO, which relaxes the blood vessels in the body.

Epimedium

Epimedium (Icariin), also known as horny goat weed, is an herb that has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. Icariin, the active ingredient in Epimedium, helps dilate blood vessels and increase blood flow to tissues by causing smooth muscle relaxation via the NO/cGMP pathway with the effect of phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor (PDE5i).

How to use H&QL FOR MEN?

Take two tablets a day, 12 hours apart, for the first 2 weeks, and one tablet after the second week, with plenty of water.

H&QL FOR MEN: Synergistic, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory and vasodilating effect

Its components, L arginine and L citrulline, provide the starting material for the production of nitric oxide.

Pycnogenol and Taurine, panax and epimedium increase NO production by affecting the enzymes (NOS) responsible for nitric oxide production. In this way, by increasing NO production, it has a synergistic effect on vascular dilation and regulating the blood supply of organs.

Taurine, panax, Pycnegenol and epimedium are antioxidant, anti-inflammatory effective.

L-arginine, L-citrulline, Pycnogenol, Taurine, panax and epimedium are involved in different mechanisms.
